Where is Headwaters Outfitters?

We're a family-owned fly shop and paddling outfitter on the Upper French Broad River in Western North Carolina, in business since 1992. Visit us at 25 Parkway Road in Rosman, NC, or 67 East Main Street in downtown Brevard, NC. Call (828) 877-3106 for either shop.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We ship fly fishing and paddling gear to anglers and paddlers all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

How fast do orders ship?

We ship most orders the next business day. We're a small staff that cares, and we do a little dance for every order out the door.

Is shipping free?

Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more.

Can I pick up my order in store?

Yes. Choose free pickup at checkout for our Rosman or Brevard shop, and we'll let you know when your order is ready.

What is your return policy?

You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be unworn or unused, with tags, in the original packaging. We cover return shipping, and a $10 restocking fee applies. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned. See our full refund policy.

What brands do you carry?

We carry brands we trust, including Hardy, Thomas & Thomas, Fishpond, Skwala, Free Fly, Loon, Smith, BAJÍO, Astral, NRS, Bending Branches and Wenonah Canoes.
